Welcome back Year Six to Autumn Term Two!
Oak Class will be going to Blackpool this Thursday so don’t forget to pick them up at 6:30pm from school. It is going to be fabulous!
We have lots of things happening again this half term and so many things to look forward to! Bikeability starts next week so if you asked to borrow a bike and helmet one will be provided for you in school! Please make sure you have returned the permission form OR your child will not be able to take part in the activities. If you are bringing in your own bike and helmet, please bring it onto the school grounds to the KS2 playground! Dress code is tracksuits and sports shoes/trainers and a warm coat/gloves etc. The children will be out for the majority of the day. You may send a snack in for the children to have on their break if they are out and about. Parents chat will also take place next week so I look forward to meeting you all then.
Don’t forget that Reading diaries/Spelling books are to be brought in every Friday and will be marked and go back out each Monday. If you have finished your AR reader at home you must wait until Friday to carry out the quiz! Reading MUST be done every night for 10/15 minutes please. Diaries to be signed daily and commented on.
PE day will remain on Thursday for now but may be subject to change – we will let you know! Therefore PE kits to be worn on Thursday please as the children will be continuing with their swimming.
You are working so hard Year Six and we hope you are having lots of fun with us! Keep it up and we look forward to more great times in school!
